As the grass starts to go green, so does Southwest Michigan for St. Patrick’s Day! Check out the array of events going on throughout the town, and be sure to fill your holiday weekend with tons of fun!

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 16

Nostalgia and memories are a great thing, especially when it comes to trivia about times past! Silver Harbor Brewing is hosting an All Things 2000’s themed Trivia Night at 7:00p, you can come solo or with a group!

Rye so serious? It’s time to have fun! Come along for Journeyman Distillery’s Cocktail Tour: All Things Rye. Starting at 5:30p and running through 7:00p, learn about the history of rye and the process behind making rye. You’ll even get to enjoy samples of popular cocktails!

Check out the next generation of talented artists as the Box Factory for the Arts hosts their Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony for Elementary School Art Show. Starting at 6:00p, and ending at 8:00p, take time to appreciate the gallery presented.

It’s not too late to join the Berrien County Historical Association in their Scavenger Hunt: Garden Curiosities! Not only do you get to have fun searching, but if you find everything, you also get a chance to win a $25 gift card to their shop. Mosey down to the Courthouse Square, open from 10:00a-5:00p, and let the hunt begin!

Don’t miss the closing weekend of Twin City Players latest production, The Outsider! Catch the show Friday and Saturday at 7:30p and Sunday at 2:00p. 

Join the Shadowland on Silver Beach for their St. Patrick's Day Bash from 8:00p-midnight! JellieFish Productions is providing the tunes so get ready to dance.

Head to The Heritage Museum & Cultural Center for their St. Patrick’s Day Celebration with Kennedy’s Kitchen at 8:00p. Attendees will enjoy Irish stories, sing-alongs and a cash bar featuring traditional Irish favorites. 

Get ready for a night of great music and tasty brews at Watermark Brewing during their St. Patrick’s Day Party from 7:00p-midnight! Live music by Midwest Hype and The Sypian Family Band; $15/person and includes a souvenir glass; 21+ event.

The Spring Art Hop returns to the Benton Harbor Arts District from 5:00p-8:00p! Hosted by the Benton Harbor Arts Association, this event features local artisans, extended hours and live music. Check out the participating locations as they celebrate Spring!

SATURDAY, MARCH 18

North Pier Brewing and The Livery are partnering up again for their annual St. Patty’s Day Pub Crawl this Saturday from 1:00p-5:00p! Tickets are just $25/person and include two drink tokens at North Pier Brewing, an all-you-can-eat St. Paddy’s Day Buffet provided by North Shore Inn and discounts at participating locations. Pub stops will include North Pier Brewing, North Shore Inn, The Livery and Chatterbox Bar & Grill. The Crawl is for all! 

Test your skills at Sarett Nature Center’s Trivia Night from 7:00p-9:00p. This fundraiser will challenge you on a variety of categories! Pre-reservation required; doors open at 6:00p. 

Take a spin on the Silver Beach Carousel and make some core memories. Current hours include Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00p-5:00p! 

Even with the changing seasons, the weather can still be a little chilly. Urban Garage Market is hosting the perfect answer, their Cozy Knit Blanket Workshop! Starting at 11a, come by the store to knit a beautiful blanket that’s perfect for bundling up with!

SUNDAY, MARCH 19

There’s no better way to immerse yourself in nice weather than with a hike! Wanderlust Outfitters is hosting their March Group Meet Up Hike at the Kal-Haven Trailhead in South Haven. This two-hour guided hike begins at 3:00p. 

Everyone loves a good mashup! Lazy Ballerina Winery is partnering with The Cheese Lady for Wine & Cheese Flights from 1:00p-3:00p! Attendees will enjoy four different cheeses from the Cheese Lady paired with four different Lazy Ballerina wines. Reservations are required so RSVP today!
