Beginning in 1937 on the grounds of Augusta National Golf Club, the Senior PGA Championship is the most historic and prestigious event in senior golf. The Championship brings together both the legends of the game and the newest members of senior professional golf to new audiences throughout the United States. Over the last 74 years, the greatest names in golf have lifted the Bourne Trophy as Senior PGA Champion: Sarazen, Snead, Player, Palmer, Nicklaus, Watson. In 2011, KitchenAid became the presenting sponsor, and began an alliance that elevated the Senior PGA Championship to new heights.
