Join us February 25-27 for the 2022 Ice Fest sponsored by Silver Beach Pizza to celebrate the winter season! It’s a weekend that brings frosty fun to downtown St. Joe. Enjoy professional Ice Carving Competitions, a SnowBiz Scavenger Hunt, Ice Interactives and more!

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 25

Ice carvers begin revving their chainsaws for the Professional Individual Carving Competition, presented by Caffe Tosi, on Friday at 5:00p. Along Pleasant Street, blocks of ice will be transformed into all sorts of awesome. The carvers will finish their icy creations at 8:00p.

At 7:30p, guests are in for a treat with a downtown Fire & Ice Tower sponsored by Tru by Hilton. To make this happen, a large tower of ice is packed with firewood. We light it, and it becomes a unique site for all - a breathtaking bonfire (a little bit of ice and fire magic).

All weekend long, Ice Fest attendees can explore downtown with the SnowBiz Scavenger Hunt, sponsored by Berrien Community Foundation. Start the search by picking up a map from the St. Joe Today Welcome Center, located at 301 State Street! The SnowBiz Scavenger Hunt is fun for all ages and has its rewards too - turn in the form at the end for a chance to win a St. Joseph Gift Certificate good at participating St. Joseph Today member locations.

This weekend is your last chance to try Silver Beach Pizza’s pizza of the month - Cheeseburger in Pizzadise! Throughout the month of February diners will enjoy this delicious pizza featuring crispy crust with an olive oil base, fresh garlic, SBP's palladium cheese blend, ground beef, white onion and cherry tomatoes, topped with shredded lettuce and pickles after the oven!

The Market hosts an Ice Fest Celebration all weekend long on the East side of Main Street! Enjoy a craft beverage or special Ice Fest Themed drink from St. Joe Community Taproom; stock up on snacks with The Cheese Lady; eat a delicious gourmet walking taco from Dad’s Farm & Cafe; warm up with hot beverage from Infusco Coffee and The Tea Annex; sip some delicious wines with the St. Joe Wine Shoppe; and bundle up with scarves and accessories from Wild Ginger Flowers & Gifts.

INSIDER TIP: The St. Joe Wine Shoppe will host wine tastings
from 1:00p-5:00p on Sunday, February 27!

Stay the weekend with us! The Boulevard Inn & Bistro hosts a Winter Getaway Package. This package for two includes overnight accommodations in a spacious suite, $50 dinner credit for the Bistro on the Boulevard, a bottle of Pinot Noir or Pinot Grigio to enjoy in your suite, two insulated wine tumblers, a branded wine key, Bistro charcuterie served on a keepsake board, $30 room service breakfast credit, two mimosas or bloody mary’s served with room service breakfast, late checkout of 2:00p! SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Ice teams assemble! The Professional Team Carving Competition begins at 7:30a and State Street will come alive with icy fun. This carving and creating will go on until 4:00p and involves epic eight blocks of ice for each sculpture. It's awesome to watch the progress of the teams throughout the day.

Challenge your friends and family to the Frozen Fish Toss, sponsored by The Livery; Frosty Tic-Tac-Toe, sponsored by SWMI Brew Tours; Ice Bowling, sponsored by Honor Credit Union! All three interactives will be located outside of the Welcome Center and are open from 11:00a-4:00p.

Family fun can be found throughout Ice Fest weekend. John Dudley, a professional magician, will visit several downtown locations and offer free shows. This magic tour begins in downtown St. Joseph on the corner of State and Pleasant Streets at 1:00p, followed by the Curious Kids’ Museum at 2:30p, then wraps up for a final show at Shadowland on Silver Beach at 4:00p

Swing by the Box Factory for the Arts and check out the Series One Exhibition! This exhibit features two local artists - Edwin Shelton and Robert Williams. Free admission, cash bar.

Forever Clean Soap Works hosts a Soap Making Class from 11:00a-1:30p! Attendees will learn soap making safety, how to make a loaf of soap (9 bars) and how to formulate their own recipe.

End Saturday with live music and great food at The Mendel Center at Lake Michigan College during Winter Delights, 8:00p! Attendees can choose a mix and match experience. Options include a concert featuring Las Cafeteras, tasting session, community dinner and workshop, or choose all three for a package price!

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 27

An oversized Ice Throne, sponsored by NOBO, is a great place to capture the moment – find it at the corner of Pleasant and State Streets all weekend long. Be sure to get a photo and share it with us on social media using #meetmeinstjoseph.

If cold conditions remain through the weekend, Sunday offers a great opportunity to enjoy downtown St. Joe and all the sculptures created during the festival. Many stores and restaurants will be open offering the perfect place to warm up while enjoying the icy art.

INSIDER TIP: There's still time to complete the SnowBiz Scavenger
Hunt, so swing by the Welcome Center to pick up a form and
