What does your family do to celebrate Halloween? Do you put on costumes and go trick-or treating? Do you pick out pumpkins and carve jack-o-lanterns? Do you stuff a scarecrow and decorate your yard with it and corn stalks? Barney and his friends have lots of preparation for their party. Come listen to this story written by Mary Dudko and create your very own scarecrow to take home with you for your Halloween celebration. You don’t want to miss this week’s story! At Wee Discover, toddlers enjoy listening to the story and the fun craft that follows. Their grownups enjoy creating memories with their little ones and meeting other caregivers.  Based on the concepts of “Mother Goose Science” for young children, Wee Discover helps children explore the world around them by reading a different story each week and linking it with hands-on learning  and play experiences about different themes. Children exercise through body motion, develop hand-eye coordination, and grasp how the many things in the world around us really work by experiencing them.  These fun programs are free with memberships or paid admission.
