An evening of love songs - "Make them Laugh, Make them Cry, Bring them Hope!" Presented as a trilogy, this first concert will be from the female perspective of empowerment, endurance, and strength when it comes to love. The next show will be from the male point of view and the last concert will showcase unity, strength and the undeniable power of love that brings us together.
Kecia is a theater veteran and world traveled concert performer. Some of her major accomplishments include The Yoke, A Christmas Carol, Fiddler on the Roof, A Chorus Line, A Christmas Story, State Fair, AIDA, Dreamgirls, Cinderella and The Lion King on Broadway. She performed two concert series at Carnegie Hall under the direction of the esteemed Tony Regina. She has been performing with several bands all over the world since the age of 14, lending her voice to several of NYC's iconic performance stages, including The Iguana Lounge, Don’t Tell Mama Cabaret, Jelsomino, Lee Bergman Theater, TOSHI’s Living Room, and URBO 'Lights Out On Broadway' to name a few.
Kecia is also known for her many solo concert performances throughout the United States including "Broadway Past and Present" (a one woman tribute to Broadway) and "Make Them Laugh, Make Them Cry, Bring Them Hope" (a tribute to female performers who have paved the way for other female artists). She performed as backup singer to Brandy Norwood during her world tour in 2012, as well as performing private events for Queen Latifah, Idina Menzel, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Jim Carrey, and B.B. King. She's finished a three-year contract as a soloist and show band performer traveling the world on several Carnival and Norwegian cruise ships. Kecia moved from New York City to Michigan in the past year and is excited to make her mark.
