Andrew Benedict Fisher, a southwest Michigan native, is the founder and vocalist of the Andrew Fisher Quartet (AFQ). Being an important part of his life, music and singing led him to pursue vocal performance at the collegiate level. Afterward, Andrew began his musical journey by performing and singing with various groups and organizations throughout the Southwestern Michigan area, participating in multiple musical productions like Pirates of Penzance, Music Man, Shrek the Musical and Parade.
After a brief stint singing opera in Florida in 2015, Andrew returned to Michigan to continue his musical journey. He felt the calling of jazz and reached out to fellow musicians with whom he had connected with through the years. Their first show as a group was their jazz fusion concert series, “Sunday Night Jazz” at the Livery Brewery which ran monthly from 2015 to 2017. Most recently, AFQ enjoyed the success of their 3rd annual Stevie Wonder tribute concert which took place in May.
Andrew has also engaged in multiple events such as "In Amber Moonlight," his work with area choral groups and fellow musicians and his work with aspiring singers by doing vocal coaching and lessons. He is always looking to find newer and bigger ways to bring high-quality music to the Southwestern Michigan area.
