Book Club: Community Engagement & the Arts - December 11th

Art has transformative power. As educators, administrators and artists, we have seen the affects of art alleviate tension, promote imagination, motivate, and heal. When art happens, it becomes a site of individual well-being.
What can we do to better serve our communities from an arts approach?
To formally commit, discuss, and grow as an arts community, we invite you to take part in a monthly book club to engage on issues surrounding community engagement and the arts. We will share in selecting readings that address community transformation so that we, as a community, can work to be informed, build healthy partnerships, and play a vital role in our community through art.
The meetings are held at Benton Harbor Public Library. The event is free and open to the public.
We hope to see you there!
