2024 Memorial Day Parade

Honor veterans who have served this great country and remember those who have sacrificed their lives to protect our freedom at the annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade will begin at the intersection of Lake Blvd. and Park St.

 

 

2024 St. Joe Farmers Market

9:00am - 2:00pm

Market-goers will enjoy fresh finds at the weekly St. Joe Farmers Market. Vendors will offer a variety of products including baked goods, locally grown produce, perennials and cut flowers, meats and cheeses, coffee and more! This event is held Saturdays in the scenic Lake Bluff Park, overlooking Lake Michigan.

Enjoy extended market hours (9:00a-4:00p) on June 1, July 20, August 17 and August 31 to coincide with the Lake Bluff Artisan Fair!
 
Please note that there will be special hours for the market on July 13 during the Krasl Art Fair - stay tuned for more details!

TRICK-OR-TREATING

Berrien County Animal Control invites the community to their annual Drive-Thru Halloween Treat Trail from 10:00am-12:00pm on October 24! Attendees will enjoy a fun and contactless way to trick-or-treat.

Road to Life Church hosts a Trick-or-Treat Drive-Thru from 6:30pm-8:30pm on Saturday, October 31. 

St. Joseph City-wide trick-or-treating is scheduled from 6:00pm-7:30pm on Saturday, October 31.

INSIDER TIP: While you’re out trick-or-treating, stop by G&M Variety!
Candy will be handed out to those in costumes!


FRIGHTFUL FAMILY FUN

Downtown St. Joseph hosts a Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Businesses and restaurants will display their decorated pumpkins October 23 through November 1. Visit participating locations and vote for your favorite pumpkin! Voting will be available at stjoetoday.com/vote from 10:00am October 23 to 11:59pm November 1.

Join the BHAA for their Fall Art Hop on October 23 from 6:00-9:00pm in the Benton Harbor Arts District. Tour the Arts District as you “hop” between participating locations and enjoy live music, food, art, shopping and more!

INSIDER TIP: Before Art Hop, swing by the Benton Harbor Public Library between 4:00pm-6:00pm
for a Halloween Happening in the library parking lot! Enjoy treats, take-home crafts and
choose a book to keep!

Something wicked is coming at Sarett Nature Center! On October 30 and 31, families can walk the lighted trail, discovering wild creatures and fun activities. Sarett’s Spooky Halloween runs from 6:30-9:00pm. Attendees will receive activity bags to take home and enjoy. It's $5/person, bring a flashlight! 

Flick-or-Treat with the Krasl Art Center and the Coastline Children’s Film Festival on October 31 from 6:30-8:30pm! Celebrate Halloween with a pumpkin walk and a few scary silent films, shown with live accompaniment.

Join Round Barn Estate on October 31 for their annual Hallowine party! Eat, drink and be scary at the LAST Jammin’ in the Vineyard. Silver Harbor Brewing hosts Horror Movie Trivia from 7:30-9:00pm on October 27. Win free stuff; free to play!

Take a Ghoulish Graveyard Tour with The Heritage Museum & Cultural Center and Twin City Players on October 24! Tours will run every half hour from 4:00pm-9:00pm. Limited tickets available, RSVP’s are strongly encouraged. 

Head over to The Citadel Dance & Music Center for a Halloween alternative! On October 31, from 12:30pm-2:30pm, stop by to grab a bag of treats. Then enter the virtual costume contest (instructions on-site) and then enjoy an Arts District Scavenger Hunt.
