Eleven Inch Dahlgreen

Dahlgren guns were naval ordnance, designed by John A. Dahlgren USN, used in the period of the American Civil War. This Eleven Inch Dahlgren Cannon was made in 1864 and put here in 1897 as a Civil War memorial.

Starting a new job is a lot like being the new kid in school.   No one wants to be the new kid! The whole experience is nerve-wracking. Aside from the transition of organizational leadership, there was a staff to get acquainted with, unfamiliar office space to learn, and serious first impressions to make.
