Come on down to St. Joseph, Michigan, for a fantastic way to kick off the holiday season. The annual Reindog Holiday Parade features dressed up pets and their owners in a variety of holiday garb. Be prepared to see all kinds of costumes from “Santa Bernards” to “Reindeer Rotweilers” - this is definitely a must-see event. The event also marks the arrival of Santa - who will then be available for wish list conversations and photos through Dec. 23.
Kids will have a chance to visit with some of their favorite friends including Rex from Curious Kids' Museum, Flick from Celebration Cinema, Splash from Silver Beach Center and the queens from the Southwest Michigan Scholarship Fund. Guests are encourage to participate and walk in the parade. For the registration form, click here. Judging for the event begins at 2:30 pm and will end at 3:45 pm. Judging will take place in front of the St. Joseph Today Welcome Center located at 301 State Street. The parade will begin promptly at 4 pm at Elm an State Street. Prizes will be awarded for Best Indidual Doggie (1st, 2nd and 3rd Place) and Best Group (or Pack) (Also 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place).
A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan.
